Hinds' Feet on High Places chat time will be canceled for the 4th of July weekend and will resume on the 13th! led by Deni in the study.

Glad you're here!

It is devastating to be diagnosed with a Chronic Illness. Dealing with chronic pain and daily challenges changes your whole life. Sometimes it feels as if your life is gone. Yes, we must mourn the life we lost, the dreams that are gone, and learn to get used to a new lifestyle. Yet, we have come to know that having a chronic condition is not the end of the road.

There is life beyond chronic life challenges. Peace in Chronic Illness is a Christian support group. We pray together and learn to trust God to bring us to a place of acceptance and new growth.

I'm so glad to see folks participating here -- some good discussions and so many photos!

Mushie and I just posted a few favorite YouTube videos. We've gotten totally distracted looking at YouTube now! There are some wonderful worship videos there and Mushie found lots of them!

New Site Excitement

We were all thrilled by the reception our "new" site got last night. It will be exciting to have a place where we can all better keep in touch, leave prayer requests, and pray for one another.

It is my prayer that we are each able to find areas of growth and success here. We leave so much of ourselves behind when we are diagnosed. Busy here & ankle/leg update

I've been moving stuff around and trying to set it up so important things are easy to find and you can enter the chat room directly from here. Feedback is definitely welcome!

My leg and ankle are getting better. You all will be amused to hear that I'm taking five meds now! Which is nothing for most of you but a lot for me -- diuretic, potassium and antibiotics, primarily. I guess I just want to thank liz for all her hard work in setting up this site. Liz and I met in another chatroom and have been friends for - gosh - going on four years now maybe? The chatroom is what brought what passes for sanity into my life.
